My lemon meringue pie came in second at today’s bakeoff at work. Kenny took first place with an apple pie, and Amy took third with her ancho chile fudge pie. Work was fun today. There were like two dozen pies, which would have been enough, but we also had barbecue and a barbecue sauce cookoff as well. Yum!
Well, I’m back. Apollocon was fun and I had a great time hanging out with old friends and new. The con was small-ish but lively, what with gamers and costumed fans mingling with the usual writerly crowd.
