But I had really wanted to do a reading so they moved me up to the mezzanine. My lemon meringue pie came in second at today’s bakeoff at work. Kenny took first place with an apple pie, and Amy took third with her ancho chile fudge pie. Work was fun today. There were like two dozen pies, which would have been enough, but we also had barbecue and a barbecue sauce cookoff as well. Yum!
