I have a few pictures from World Fantasy Con. I have to admit, I mostly took out my camera for our day trip to Banff and Lake Louise. We just don’t get mountains like that here in Austin. The elves help those who help themselves

The project is almost complete, and then I will post pictures. I think that the time pressure — must get this done before World Fantasy Con! — was contributing to the failure.  I have a few more steps to make it absolutely perfect (hah!) and then I will reveal it in all its glory. But as a hint it involves horses and bats.

Housekeeping, or buh-bye Minesweeper

I have been a bad, bad writer. I allowed myself to get sucked into the Minesweeper vortex, first by saying, “just one game” before I start, and then by saying, “well, that one didn’t count.” You can see where this is going.  So I uninstalled the damn thing.
