The SF/gothic/ghost story is finished and off to the editor. After a little back and forth that made the story more cohesive, I am very satisfied with this version. A commissioned short story did the trick that long months of worry and struggle could not — I am writing again and the words are flowing. There are a lot of factors involved, but probably the most important is that this is a very fast turnaround time, and the story is due on May 1.
