(Note: I loved this segment. It got into Joe’s head and showed everything we needed to know about him, like how he relates to people, how he cares about Lynn, even what happens when he gets angry. Sad news for short story writers: Realms of Fantasy, long-running fantasy magazine edited by Shawna McCarthy, has announced that it is closing down after the April issue. I sold two stories for Realms and had high hopes for becoming a regular within its pages.
